Track Your Assets Even More Effectively
The Advanced Audit Module allows you to examine and compare whether the equipment configured in CableSolve is the same as the physical asset present in the facility. Audits should ideally take place periodically and require the use of a barcode scanner to scan barcodes in each piece of equipment. CableSolve records equipment that does not match as an 'Audit Discrepancy' which can either be reported or acted on later.
Audit Connections
CableSolve audits connections in patch panels to determine and resolve inaccuracies in the cabling records. Audit of patch panels is a breeze as no cable tracing is required. Simple scanning the patch cords connected to the horizontal, and CableSolve will automatically match the cable as the other end is reached to determine if the connection is correct.
Multi-functional Auditing
CableSolve allows multiple types of audit configurations to support different departmental and operational functions. Each type of audit can have its own configurable list of templates and reports. Examples would be: audit of assets of the Finance Group, audit of laptops and telephones of the Sales & Marketing Groups, or installation of a particular software for the IT Group.
